One of the oldest of all the palaces in Vodadara, the three-storeyed Nazarbaugh Palace was built in the year 1721 by Malhar Rao Gaekwad. Once the guest-house of the royal family of Baroda, today this palace houses various heirlooms of the royal family. From huge guns made of silver to gold and many other artifacts, this palace has a lot to offer. Besides Indian artifacts, there are Graeco-Roman, Japanese and Chinese arts on display. If you are in the mood to explore more, then head to the glass palace, Sheesh Mahal. Yes, this sparkling structure made of glass is one of the most unique masterpieces of Nazarbaugh Palace.
